Hanacure Mask Where To Buy High Quality

Laser treatments, peels, acids, RX treatments, microdermabrasion, and certain retinoids all require the skin to go through a 1-2 week healing process. The All-In-One Facial is an active treatment with intense tightening and lifting effects, so please wait for your skin to fully recover from those treatments prior to using our mask. We do not recommend using with severely skin-drying products, or any other products that can cause irritation, such as acne medication. Please consult your dermatologist with any concerns.

We want you to be completely happy with every purchase. If you are not satisfied you have 30 days to return most Neiman Marcus purchases. Altered apparel, special orders, cloth face mask coverings, perishable or personalized/monogrammed items, and items identified as \"final sale\" cannot be returned.

I've always taken more of a "double-tap only" approach to Instagram beauty. I'll watch as bloggers do weird stuff to their face in the name of entertainment all day, but I'm intensely critical of what I'll put on my own skin. (Rosacea, along with derm horror stories, will do that to you.) So when the Hanacure mask starting popping up all over my feed, thanks mostly to a viral endorsement by Drew Barrymore and the fact that you look a thousand years old once it dries, I politely kept my distance.

Currently you can buy the Hanacure mask in two places: the company's website and Amazon. If you're a binge-masker with some cash to spend, there's a $110 kit minimally packaged and impossible to open (until you figure out you're an idiot and it's a flip top that lifts from the side) that includes four vials of serum, four peel-back gelling "solutions," and very fancy brush to apply the mask with. Or, if you're just mask-curious, there's a $40 single-facial kit option.

The mask is also moisturizing, which can also help give skin a healthy look, Gary Goldenberg, M.D., medical director of the Dermatology Faculty Practice at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, tells SELF.

Washing off the mask was such a relief, and I followed it up with a moisturizer as suggested. Initially, I was a bit shocked by how flushed and red my face was, which they do mention can happen for up to 90 minutes post-application, but I could also see that my skin was brighter and smoother. My dark spots also seemed to be blurred a little and my skin felt soft and nourished. When the redness subsided 30 minutes later, I was impressed with the results, but the glow I woke up with the following day has me obsessed.

As soon as Drew Barrymore posted a photo on her Instagram of her trying the Hanacure mask, the whole world was obsessed. It's hardly surprising when the mask makes you look super scary. You see, as it dries, it tightens and pulls your skin in all sort of directions, and then freezes your face in some pretty peculiar poses. It wasn't long before the Kardashians got their mitts on the famous mask, and also took to Instagram to share their experience. At least I'll be in good company...

My skin has been driving me mad lately. Just as one breakout dries up, another emerges and no amount of clean eating and tender loving skincare seems to be helping. On top of that, it's also looking lackluster due to not enough sleep. Luckily, the Hanacure mask claims to tackle both issues, drawing out impurities to leave pores deeply cleaned, and also tightening and firming the skin.

The preparation of the mask strikes the perfect balance between scientific and serious, yet fun and feel-good. All you have to do is peel back the corner of the Gelling Solution, tip in the ampule of Lifting Serum, and shake to mix the two together until a thick gel forms. Then, using the brush, simply smooth the mixture over skin, avoiding the eyes and lips, and let it work its magic for 30 minutes before washing off.

For some reason, I had expected the mask to smell like chemicals, or else to sting, but in reality, it isn't unpleasant in any way - it doesn't smell nor does it tingle or burn upon application. On the contrary, it feels cooling and refreshing upon first application. The 30 minute treatment time did throw me slightly - my skincare products usually only take a few minutes and hadn't factored for a whole half hour of mask time. Nonetheless, I seized the opportunity to sit back and relax.

At around the five minute mark, I started to notice a pulling sensation, as if the mask was shrink-wrapping my skin. Although not unpleasant, it did get so tight that it started pulling one eyebrow up and one side of my mouth down, oddly enough leaving me looking very, very sad. And I couldn't move - at all. It had frozen my face into this peculiar expression and all I could do was stare at myself in the mirror in a slightly scary insight into what I would look like as an old lady (and a super sad one at that).

Half an hour of staring into the abyss of my sad future face, I was glad to wash the mask off. It balled up a bit and took a fair few splashes to wash off entirely. My skin was pretty red when I washed it off but soon settled down, after which it felt the softest it has ever felt in my life. Although my blemishes were still there, my skin felt tight and lifted long afterwards and had a distinct glow.

The Hanacure mask has become a viral sensation ever since the lovely Drew Barrymore posted a selfie on her Instagram using this bizarre mask. So, why has this mask become so popular? The Hanacure mask is unlike your average mask. It makes you look like you're 80 before it makes you look 10 years younger...allegedly.

I had to find out what this mask was all about and if it lived up to the hype. As a masking fiend, I've tried a lot of odd masks over the years, but I think that this might be the weirdest masking experience I've had to date.

The Hanacure mask is a gel mask created by mixing a small ampule of lifting serum with a small container of gelling solution. Mix the two, shake it up, apply, and watch the magic happen over the next 30 minutes.

Opening my Hanacure mask was an experience. The box is beautiful, luxurious, and all the pieces are safely secured within. It certainly looks and feels high-end, and the presentation is on point. The direction pamphlet is clear, concise and contains pretty illustrations to demonstrate the steps.

I love that the kit comes with a brush which can be reused, but I can't help thinking that if you buy this mask often you're going to end up with a lot of brushes. It's not really a bad thing, but I do think the addition of the brush bumps the cost.

The gel applied easily and smoothly and it isn't very thick. It felt cooling and didn't have a noticeable scent. I applied the gel in a methodical manner, making sure to steer clear of my lips and under eye area. The more I worked the more I realized that there is quite a bit more gel than it initially appeared. Since you can't reuse the remaining product, I found myself layering the gel in areas where I felt I needed some extra lifting. After all, I didn't want any of it to go to waste!

I do have a hormonal irritation sitch on my chin (you can tell in the photos how red it looks without makeup) and when I first applied the mask to that area it did sting a little. I was concerned about the stinging but it stopped within a few seconds.

Hanacure recommends that you limit all facial movements for the entire 30 minutes to maximize the effects. This is where all the cracking comes in and plays a part in the overall effectiveness of the mask. The less your mask cracks, the better. You can also fan your face to increase the intensity of the tightening effect.

Within 10 minutes I could feel the mask start to pull and tighten, especially around my nose as I breathed. The mask seemed to be air activated. I did fan my face periodically throughout the process and it did maximize the tightening effect...you can even feel the mask tightening if you're walking around. You can feel your skin pulse in time with the tightening of the mask...it's a very bizarre sensation.

You can see from my photos the various levels of the tightening process. In the photos, it looks like I'm about to cry but in actuality, I'm really trying not laugh! I didn't succeed and it caused the mask to crack around my mouth. The further into the process, the more your face contorts and pulls and the more ridiculous looking you become.

It's not the most comfortable process, let me tell you. If you are adverse to masks that tighten then this mask may not be for you. There was a point where I didn't think I'd be able to get through the last 10 minutes but I sat down and meditated on it.

Once the mask had been completely removed, I pat my skin dry and knew I needed to get something on my skin to calm it down STAT! The stinging was still in full force. I grabbed my Vichy Mineral 89 (a gel moisturizer that I will be talking about in another post soon) and it felt like coming up for air as I applied it to my angry skin. I wish I had taken a picture of just how red my skin was before applying the Mineral 89, but I couldn't think clearly. You can still see that my skin is pretty red in the photo, but by this point, it had been about 10 minutes after applying the Mineral 89 and gathering myself. FYI, the redness lasted a good 3 hours.

Well, I do notice that my skin feels firmer. Whats more, once my skin chilled out I was able to tell that it does feel and look much smoother. It has now been 24 hours since using the Hanacure mask and I can say without a doubt that it really has made a visible difference in the overall appearance of my skin. I especially notice the effects on my forehead where lines are less visible and skin looks more taught than it did previously. 041b061a72
